Communication is a powerful tool for success at school and beyond. This training is designed for parents, students, and adults with disabilities who want to build confidence in expressing their needs, understanding their rights, and working with others. Participants will learn practical strategies for self-advocacy, active listening, and clear, respectful communication in settings such as classrooms, IEP and 504 meetings, medical offices, workplaces, and community services. Together, we will explore how effective communication builds stronger partnerships, opens doors to opportunities, and helps every person feel heard, valued, and empowered to participate fully in their community.
